January 25, 2024 - Columbus North recognized senior players Kaitlin White and Olivia Johnson as well as senior manager Anna Kute prior to the varsity game against Roncalli in Memorial Gymnasium on Thursday evening. Unfortunately, the Dogs didn’t have much to celebrate after that. North finished the regular season 11-12 after a 66-40 loss to the Royals. Kaylie Harmon dropped 22 points, but the Dogs had too many turnovers and the Royals connected on too many three-point baskets (eleven), leading the Bull Dogs to their tenth loss in their final 13 regular season games. Fortunately for the Bull Dogs, everyone has a 0-0 record once sectional play begins. The Bull Dogs drew a first-round bye in the Whiteland Sectional and will face the winner of Shelbyville and Franklin Community in the second round. The JV Bull Dogs finished their season 15-4 after a 45-32 loss to the Royals in the early game. Emma Beaver scored nine points in the Bull Dogs’ loss.
