May 1, 2024 - The Bull Dogs led Carmel 6-4 after four-and-a-half innings of varsity softball, but the Greyhounds scored three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and held on for a 7-6 victory, dropping North to 7-7 for the season. Bailee Scruggs went the distance for the Dogs, giving up five earned runs on eight hits while striking out five and walking three. She, along with Summer Williams, tallied a pair of hits. Morgan Jarvis and Williams each recorded two RBI. The highlight at the plate came from senior Kelsey Lovelace. While she only managed one hit in four plate appearances, it set a new school record for hits in a career (124), passing 2023 graduate Maddi Rutan. The Bull Dogs will be on the road at Bedford North Lawrence on Wednesday (May 1). First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 pm
