North drops Conference Indiana game at Southport

May 7, 2024 - Bull Dog baseball dropped to 14-4 overall, but more importantly, fell to 2-1 in Conference Indiana play with a 4-2 loss at Southport on Monday evening. The Dogs, playing their tenth game in 13 days, left ten runners on base in the game. Brock Kintner (shown) was 3-for-4 at the plate and Zach McLean and Jayce Emmitt each had two hits as North had nine hits and four walks for the contest. Ryan Rayburn gave up eight hits and two earned runs in the complete-game loss. Rayburn fell to 4-1 for the season with an ERA of 1.50. The JV White squad (1-4) earned its first victory of the season with a 9-0 victory at Mooresville. The Dogs will travel to Westfield Tuesday evening for JV and varsity games. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 pm.
