“Blue & White Day” has been set for Saturday, Aug. 5 by Columbus North athletics.
The event is a terrific opportunity to get reacquainted as the 2017-18 academic year begins and the Bull Dogs’ fall sports teams get going. Admission to “Blue & White Day” is free.
A meeting for parents of all CNHS fall sports athletes is set for 5 p.m. in Gym 1. The meeting should last about 45 minutes.
Individual team meetings, at the discretion of team coaches, will be from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at rooms to be designated.
Boys soccer and girls soccer will have a demonstration from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Max Andress Field. Volleyball will hold a scrimmage in Gym 1 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Football takes the field for warm-ups for a scrimmage at 7 p.m. The cheerleaders are introduced at 7:15 p.m., and the football scrimmage begins at 7:30 p.m.
The cross country teams, under new coaches Danny Fisher and Bethany Scruton, have a mile run at halftime of the football scrimmage at about 8 p.m.
Columbus North all-sports passes for the 2017-18 school year will be available beginning at 6 p.m. The family pass, good for four family members, is available for $200.
