Wilson voted first-team all-state in singles; five other Bull Dogs receive all-state accolades

                Columbus North freshman Ashlie Wilson was named first-team All-State in singles by the Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association.

                Wilson posted a 22-5 record at No. 1 singles in leading the Bull Dogs to a 22-5 season and a tie for fifth place in the IHSAA team State Finals. CN also captured sectional, regional and semi-state championships and placed second in Conference Indiana.

                Columbus North junior Ali Bergman and sophomore Jaline Tay were selected second-team All-State in doubles, while junior Eva Chevalier was honorable mention All-State in singles and senior Servane Cloteaux and freshman Tiffany Fu were honorable mention All-State in doubles.

                Bergman and Tay finished 7-8 as a tandem at No. 1 doubles, while Chevalier posted a 23-4 mark while playing No. 2 singles. Cloteaux totaled a 14-1 record as a duo at No. 2 doubles.

                Earlier, all six athletes were voted IHSTeCA first-team all-District 8. Also, CN’s Kendal Hammel was honored as District 8 Coach of the Year. In addition, Cloteaux was named first-team Academic All-State and senior Shweta Srinivasan was recognized as honorable mention Academic All-State.
