The Columbus North-Lapel gymnastics meet that was scheduled for Friday (Feb. 19) has been canceled. The meet will not be rescheduled.

                The next meet now for Columbus North gymnastics is the Columbus East Sectional. That meet is scheduled for 7 p.m. next Friday (Feb. 26). The top three teams in the sectional will qualify for the Columbus East Regional on Saturday, March 6. The IHSAA State Finals in Gymnastics are set for March 13 at Ball State University’s Worthen Arena in Muncie.

                Columbus North finished its regular season with a 7-0 record in dual meets. The Bull Dogs also placed first in the 11-school Connersville Invitational on Feb. 13.

                The Conference Indiana meet on Feb. 15 was canceled because of inclement weather, but results are expected to be decided for the CI meet from meets earlier in the season. The details of those results are expected to be announced in the coming week.
