May 11, 2022 - The Bull Dogs softball team recognized their seniors just before the first pitch on Wednesday (May 11) vs Greensburg. A few minutes later, the Dogs led 3-0 after two first inning home runs, one by Maddi Rutan and one by Rachel Cowan, and the rout was on. The Dogs added five runs in the second and five more in the fifth inning to blow out Greensburg 13-0 and improve to 16-3 overall.
Cowan not only homered, but pitched a gem. She gave up only one hit and no runs while striking out eleven Pirates in her complete game victory. Kiersten Danford and Bailey King joined Cowan with two hits each for the victorious Bull Dogs.
The Dogs will have a few days to rest and practice before a non-conference matchup with Seymour on Monday, May 16.
