May 12, 2022 - On April 7, the Bull Dogs baseball team and Bloomington North battled to a 1-1 tie before the game was called on account of darkness after seven innings. The two teams finally found time on their schedules to complete the Conference Indiana matchup on Thursday, May 12 at the Southside diamonds. Both teams expected it to be a quick finish, but that was not to be. They battled for seven more innings before the Cougars came out on top 3-1, dropping the Bull Dogs’ record to 15-4-2 overall and 3-1 in Conference Indiana.
Will Baker pitched all seven of the extra innings, and had two hits from the plate.
The Dogs will host Terre Haute South with a chance to finish Conference Indiana with a 4-1 record and share the conference title with Bloomington South.
