Bull Dogs rebound with girls basketball victory at Lawrenceburg

January 15, 2022 - After consecutive losses to Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference (MIC) opponents Ben Davis and Carmel, the Bull Dogs were hungry for a victory.  They got just what they needed with a trip to Lawrenceburg High School on Saturday, January 15.  The Dogs came home with a 41-29 victory, improving their record to 11-7 (4-0 in Conference Indiana).

The Dogs held a slim 17-15 lead at the halftime break, but a 24-14 advantage over the last two quarters sealed the double-digit victory for the Bull Dogs.

Lauren Barker tallied twelve points and Kylah Lawson added nine to pace Columbus North.

The Bull Dogs won the JV game 39-21 behind Greta Brown’s eleven points, improving their record to 15-2.  The 9th grade squad traveled to Bishop Chatard Saturday morning and improved their season record to 10-2 with a 43-28 victory.  Paige Terry paced the Dogs with 18 points.

Next up for the Bull Dogs is a trip to Silver Creek on Tuesday, January 18 for a JV/varsity double header.  The freshmen game against Silver Creek has been canceled.
