Cloteaux, Srinivasan chosen Academic All-State; six Bull Dogs voted all-district; Hammel chosen District 8 Coach of the Year

                Senior Servane Cloteaux has been named first-team Academic All-State and classmate Shweta Srinivasan has been chosen honorable mention Academic All-State by the Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association.

                For academic all-state, a player must be a senior and have a grade-point average of 3.7 or better on a non-weighted 4.0 scale. Nominees also must have an SAT score of 1200 or better or an ACT score of 25 or better.

                In addition, freshman Ashlie Wilson and junior Eva Chevalier were voted IHSTeCA first-team all-District 8 in singles. Also, the tandems of junior Ali Bergman and sophomore Jaline Tay as well as Cloteaux and freshman Tiffany Fu were selected IHSTeCA first-team all-District 8 in doubles.

                Also, Kendal Hammel has been recognized as IHSTeCA District 8 Coach of the Year after guiding the Bull Dogs to a 22-5 season that included sectional, regional and semi-state championships, a runner-up finish in Conference Indiana and a tie for fifth place at the IHSAA team State Finals.

                Wilson finished 22-5 at No. 1 singles, while Chevalier was 23-4 at No. 2 singles. Bergman and Tay had a 7-8 mark together at No. 1 doubles; Bergman was 13-10 overall in doubles matches, while Tay was 15-12 overall in doubles matches. Cloteaux and Fu finished 14-1 together at No. 2 doubles; Cloteaux was 21-5 overall in doubles matches, while Fu was 15-2 in doubles and 9-0 at No. 3 singles.
