Seven Columbus North seniors finalize their college plans

Seven Columbus North High School seniors took part in a college-bound student-athlete ceremony on Wednesday (April 11) to finalize their commitments for college athletics and academics.

Two women's basketball players, one men's basketball player, one women's golfer, one women's track athlete and two men's track/cross country athletes were participants in a ceremony in the lobby of the Bill Stearman Athletic Complex.
Student-athletes who were a part of the program were men's basketball player Bailey Hester (Taylor University), women's track athlete Kennedy Cook (Ohio Northern University), women's golfer Danbi Kim (University of Findlay), men's track/cross country athletes Charlie Allen (Marian University) and Peyton Shelton (Southern Wesleyan University), and women's basketball players Kat Norman and Liz Tynan (both, Hanover College).

These seven athletes give CNHS a total of 15 athletes in the Class of 2018 who have announced plans to pursue college athletics. Earlier, eight athletes took part in signing ceremonies in December or February.
