Junior Quin Shoultz was recognized as MVP and senior Audrey Lewis was presented the Bull Dog Award during the Columbus North volleyball team banquet on Wednesday evening (Nov. 9).
Shoultz, the team's setter, led the 18-16 squad with 8.34 assists per game while adding 2.43 digs per game, 0.48 blocks per game and 0.42 service aces per game. She also contributed 0.67 kills per game with a .345 hitting efficiency.
Lewis, an outside hitter, posted team highs of 3.32 kills per game and 3.11 digs per game. She also provided 0.32 blocks per game, 0.36 aces per game and a .269 hitting efficiency.
Others honored during the program were junior Amanda Pittman with the Jollie Crider Mental Attitude Award and freshman Karen Wildemann with the Casey Cooley Underclass Mental Attitude Award.
Shoultz and Lewis also were recognized as first-team all-Conference Indiana selections, while senior Molly Rinehart was an honorable mention all-conference selection.
Senior Rachael Miller garnered accolades as a first-team Academic All-State honoree by the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Assocation. Lewis and seniors Kristen Clark and Emily Scheidt were honorable mention Academic All-State.
Those receiving varsity letters were seniors Kristen Clark, Sydnee Jackson, Audrey Lewis, Rachael Miller, Kasi Prohaska, Julie Reece, Molly Rinehart and Emily Scheidt; juniors Brenna Eddelman, Amanda Pittman and Quin Shoultz; sophomore Kelsey Cunningham; and freshman Karen Wildemann.
