Boys Varsity Soccer
Three Columbus North players have received all-District 4 accolades from the Indiana Soccer Coaches Association.
Sophomores Jenna Lang and Nitya Chenanda were voted first-team all-district from the CN girls soccer team, while senior Graham Keele was selected second-team all-district from the Bull Dog boys soccer team.
In addition, junior Lauryn Whitley and sophomore Jesse Williams were recognized as ISCA Top Team Players for the respective teams.
Lang, a forward, totaled 72 points on 32 goals and eight assists while leading the Columbus North girls to a 14-3-0 record that included a Conference Indiana championship at 5-0-0. Chenanda netted one goal and one assist and was a key defender for a unit that yielded just 12 goals over 17 games. Whitley, a midfielder, tallied 29 points on four goals and 21 assists. Whitley’s 21 assists tied a CN single-season record.
Keele, a forward and midfielder, amassed 38 points on 16 goals and six assists as the CN boys went 7-10-1 overall and tied for second place in Conference Indiana at 3-2-0. Williams, a midfielder, had one assist and also helped the defense allow just 35 goals over 18 games.
