Girls Cross Country
Currently, the plan is to have conditioning Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this summer until we can get settled down here as a family. I would expect for the session to last about 1½ to 2 hours. Tuesday I will offer two sessions because I will be in town and have the extra time. Girls will not be expected to be at both sessions- they can pick one that is flexible for their schedule or attend both if they desire.
Our week will probably look like this in June:
- Monday – 6 p.m. at CN
- Tuesday – 8 a.m. at Ceraland
- Tuesday – 6 p.m. at CN
- Wednesday – 8 a.m. at TBD (possibly Grandview Lake)
My goals for this team are simple- to develop each girl to best of their potential- both athletically and academically. I want to continue to the rich success that has been a staple of CN for 40 years. You will see many of the same traditions and running plans as you have before- with a new spin based upon my training philosophies. We will continue to have a close relationship with the boys’ team while hopefully creating some of our own identity through new traditions created over the next few years. You will find me open, flexible, and easy to communicate with as a coach- for both athletes and parents. I have always viewed my job as a teacher and a coach as a facilitator- to help get each student-athlete wherever it is that they want to go- from a state title to simply being part of a running family.
Below is my contact information- please do not hesitate to call, email, or text me with questions. I am looking forward to a great season!
