November 9, 2025 - The Columbus North girls wrestling team got their second season started at New Palestine on Saturday, November 8, and although all three of North’s wrestlers finished 0-2 at the tournament, head coach Lindsey Prozanski was very pleased with a number of things she saw from her squad. “Paris Lopez showed great offensive instincts, scoring two takedowns, two escapes, and a reversal against her opponent from Lebanon. Nitya Hurli battled hard in her opening match and earned an escape, showing great resilience. Aubreigh Campbell moved well throughout both of her matches and created several scoring opportunities, staying aggressive and composed on the mat. (All three) showed progress that doesn’t always show up on the scoreboard,” Prozanski described after the matches. “(We’re) excited to get back in the (practice) room Monday to keep improving.” The Dogs will host Jennings County at 6:00 on Wednesday, November 12 in their first dual meet of the season before competing at the Bronco Fall Classic at Daleville Jr./Sr. High School on Saturday.
