Girls wrestling put five on the podium in fourth-place team finish at Bronco Classic

November 17, 2025 - North’s girls wrestling team finished in fourth place among 21 teams at the Bronco Fall Classic in Daleville and placed five wrestlers on the awards podium for top-six finishes. Paris Lopez-Pendaz finished 0-3 for the day, Alona Call finished 1-2, and Morgan Clark was 1-2 for the day. Leslie Bridges earned a fifth-place finish, earning two wins in three matches. Aubreigh Campbell won three matches, but an injury forced her to default to a sixth-place finish. Zahlynn Williams finished sixth as well and recorded the fastest pin in the tournament (eight seconds). Nitya Hurli finished second in her weight class, falling in the finals. Fatima Aguilar Castillo was the champion of her weight class, pinning all four opponents in the first period. The girls will be back on the mat at Ben Davis on Saturday, November 22.
