August 18, 2023 - At some point this season, the Bull Dogs girls golf team hopes to play a match under sunny skies. Instead, the Dogs took cover under umbrellas between shots for the first few holes of their nine-hole match with Roncalli at Harrison Lake Country Club on Thursday. The rain didn’t seem to bother the North players, however, and they beat Roncalli 181-221 to improve to 2-1 in dual meets this season. Erin Hopkins once again took medalist honors, with an outstanding score of 37. Right on her heels was teammate Lindsey Hartwell with a personal-best score of 38. Ana Pavlov shot 52, tying a personal best,, and Kara Buntin added a 54 for the Bull Dogs. Harper Andresen carded a 59 to round out the North scoring. The Bull Dogs will travel to Hickory Stick Golf Course on Saturday to participate in the Trojan Classic, hosted by Center Grove. The event is scheduled to begin at 1:00.
