August 18, 2023 - The Bull Dog boys soccer team has wasted no time diving into its Conference Indiana schedule this season, with two of their first three opponents being conference foes. The Dogs improved to 3-0 on the season with a 2-0 victory over Bloomington North on Thursday evening at the BCSC Soccer Complex. Christian Cardoso put the Dogs on the board in the first half with an assist from Obed Oliva. Aiden Whitley then punched one in with just two seconds remaining in the match on a free kick to secure the 2-0 Conference Indiana victory for Columbus North. The Bull Dogs’ defense allowed the Cougars only five shots all match, with just two of those coming on goal (both saved by Juan Jose Salcedo Calderon). The Dogs tallied 14 shots (five on frame) with Cardoso and Misaki Takemoto each recording five shots. The two JV teams battled to a 0–0 draw in the early game.
