Girls swim kicks off season at Bloomington South

November 19, 2025 - The Bull Dog girls swimming and diving team kicked off their season at Bloomington South Tuesday evening and fell to the Panthers 138-45. The highlight of the evening was a dominating performance by Mridula Muthukumaran in the 200-yd individual medley, winning by nearly four seconds in 2:16.57. She also finished second in the 100-yd butterfly, finishing just .05 seconds behind the winner from Bloomington South. Top finishers in each event for the Bull Dogs included: 200-yd medley relay: Advika Badve, Cora Tregoning, Muthukumaran, Abigail Proffitt - 2nd 200-yd freestyle: Tregoning - 2nd 200-yd individual medley: Muthukumaran - 1st 50-yd freestyle: Ell Maignan - 4th 100-yd butterfly: Muthukumaran - 2nd 100-yd freestyle: Nandini Kondhare - 4th 500-yd freestyle: Sanchita Ponnathpur - 4th 200-yd freestyle relay: Muthukumaran, Proffitt, Tregoning, Badve - 2nd 100-yd backstroke: Badve - 3rd 100-yd breaststroke: Tregoning - 3rd 400-yd freestyle relay: Kondhare, Maignan, Sienna Isaac, Kanav Mehta - 3rd The Dogs will be back in the pool on Tuesday, November 25 when both the girls and the boys will host Franklin Community beginning at 5:30 pm.
