November 26, 2025 - Columbus North hosted Heritage Christian to open their season, and the Bull Dogs certainly kicked off the season on the right note. Junior Austin Perry scored 31 points and senior Caleb Ferguson added 16 in a 68-55 victory. The Dogs jumped out to a 20-12 advantage after one quarter and stretched the lead to twelve at the halftime break. However, the Eagles rallied in the third quarter, aided by turnovers and poor shooting by the Dogs, and tied the game in the third stanza. Nevertheless, North settled down and slowly pulled away the rest of the game, winning by thirteen. The JV and freshman teams started the evening with 65-35 and 53-41 victories, respectively to begin the sweep of the Eagles. The Bull Dogs will host Hauser on Saturday in a JV/varsity doubleheader, beginning at 6:00 pm.
