Columbus North High School

November 26, 2025 - Jeffersonville High School was the site of the Turkey Tussle girls wrestling tournament on Wednesday morning, and the Columbus North girls had a fine showing. Competing teams included Columbus North, Jeffersonville, Scottsburg, Corydon, Floyd Central, Borden, and Bedford North Lawrence. No team score was kept at the event. Zahlynn Williams (shown) and Aubreigh Campbell each finished 2-0 for the day, while Nitya Hurli and Paris Lopez each went 1-1. Also wrestling for the Bull Dogs were Alona Call (0-1) and Fatima Aguilar (0-1). The Dogs will be off until Saturday, December 6 when they’ll travel to the Monrovia Invitational, beginning at 9:00 am.
