Boys wrestling begins dual meet season with convincing victory over Greensburg

November 27, 2025 - North boys wrestling hosted Greensburg on Wednesday night and rolled to a 50-28 victory in their first dual meet of the season. The match started at 190 pounds, where North’s Darrell Hicks won with a pin. Dylan Canas then won his 215 pound match 4-3, before Rogelio Utera-Piedra fell at 285. As the meet moved to the 106 pound match, North’s Alex Stahley fell 6-0, but James Brown got the Dogs back on track with a pin at 113. Eben Parker earned a forfeit at 120, but Greensburg answered when Hudson Harmon fell at 126. North forfeited the 132 match, but came back with a pin by Harper Hardeback at 138. Skyler Burns dropped his 144 pound match by major decision, but the Bull Dogs won the remaining matches. Cohen Long received a forfeit at 150, James Scruggs won by technical fall at 157, Asher Ratliff earned a first period pin at 165, and Eric Streeval closed out the match with a pin at 175. North won the only JV match of the night as well. The Bull Dogs will travel to Perry Meridian for a dual meet on Thursday, December 4, beginning at 6:00 pm.
