Girls cross country place fifteenth in Huntsville

December 8, 2025 - While the varsity boys were in Portland, Oregon competing at the Nike Cross Nationals, most of the girls team and other members of the boys team were in Huntsville, Alabama taking part in the New Balance Running Lane Cross Country Championships. The Bull Dog girls placed 15th in the Gold race, led by Emma Lowther and Kodi Smith, who finished 159th and 161st, respectively. Sydney Madden was 192nd, Maria Gaggiano Camargo finished 210th, Ainsley Sherlock 248th, Hazel Sasse 262nd, and Reece Peeples took 287th place. A second girls team participated in the Silver races and finished 19th. Those runners included Brooklyn Donner, Ava Horn, Ellie Frazier, Claire Rawlings, Sophia Weber, and Pauline Vaufrey. North entered two boys teams as well, with one team placing third in the Silver Division and the other finishing second in the Bronze category. On the Silver team was Rohan Norris, Garrett Perfetto, Levi Carothers, Leyton Hottell, Jackson Lowther, Jackson Schneider, and Drew Hoeflinger. The Bronze team consisted of Zaid Warsi, Noah Weidman, Cole DeVreese, James Stofel, Jonathan Hatton, Ethan Lovell, and Caleb Niewedde. Congratulations to all of these Bull Dogs.
