Swim squads earn first victory of the season vs Whiteland, fall to Center Grove

December 10, 2025 - Columbus North hosted Whiteland and Center Grove for a swimming and diving triangular Tuesday evening and the Bull Dogs recorded 43 season-best performances. Both teams finished 1-1 in the meet, beating Whiteland (91-89 boys, 100-83 girls) to earn their first victories of the season, and falling to Center Grove (132-48 boys, 131-49 girls). Top performers for the girls included: 200 medley relay: Advika Badve, Cora Tregoning, Mridula Muthukumaran, Abigail Proffitt - 3rd 200 free: Tregoning - 2nd 200 individual medley: Muthukumaran - 1st 50 free: Ell Maignan - 5th 1m diving: Sophia Sandoval - 4th 100 butterfly: Muthukumaran - 1st 100 free: Caroline Crawford - 5th 500 free: Proffitt - 4th 200 free relay: Muthukumaran, Maignan, Proffitt, Tregoning - 3rd 100 free relay: Badve - 3rd 100 breaststroke: Sanchita Ponnathpur - 4th 400 free relay: Maignan, Crawford, Nandini Kondhare, Carolina Balogona - 5th Top boys performers for the Bull Dog boys included: 200 medley relay: Hudson Clock, Isaac Niewedde, Aarush Mahato, Eli McIntier 200 free: Eli Varchenko - 5th 200 individual medley: Mahato - 1st 50 free: Luis Valerdi - 6th 1m diving: Dagan Kleffman - 1st 100 butterfly: Mahato - 1st 100 free: McIntier - 4th 500 free: Varchenko - 5th 200 free relay: Mahato, McIntier, Clock, Varchenko - 5th 100 backstroke: Clock - 4th 100 breaststroke: Niewedde - 5th 400 free relay: Sarthak Kamble, Abhay Bhadauria, Bhavesh Sathish Kumar, Aayush Gupta - 5th The Dogs will travel to East Central for an invitational on Saturday morning, December 13.
