August 23, 2023 - The Bull Dog girls cross country team took the first 16 positions in their cross-town dual with Columbus East, while the boys took the top 26 spots in their race, both posting perfect 15-50 victories over the host Olympians. Each team is credited points for their top five runners based on their finishing positions. Since the Bull Dogs’ top five runners were in positions 1-5, they tallied the perfect score of 15 for the meet. In a dual meet, if none of one team’s runners finish in the top seven positions, that team is awarded positions 8-12, giving them 50 total team points. Kyliegh Wolf won the girls meet in 21:33.80, while Neal White (17:08.29) won the boys event. On Saturday, August 26, head coach Rick Sluder will send some runners to the Franklin Invitational and others to the Dennis Bays Invitational.
