August 23, 2023 - Columbus North fell to a quality team from Trinity High School 0-3 in volleyball on Tuesday evening (22-25, 20-25, 18-25). Kennedy Horn recorded seven kills, two block assists, and an ace for the Bull Dogs. Karen Dutro had six kills and two blocks, while Katelynn Mabis tallied four kills, one block assist, seven digs, and an ace. Holly Evans and Reese Edwards each had eleven setting assists, while Morgan Osborn led the dig stats with eight. The JV lost 2-1, while the Freshmen team started the evening with an 0-2 defeat. Next up for North (3-4) will be a trip to Roncalli on Thursday evening. Freshman and JV teams will begin at 5:30 with the varsity match to follow the JV.
