August 14, 2022 - Otter Creek Golf Course might not be Columbus North’s official home course, but most of the team members have played it enough to think of it as a home away from home. The Dogs used their course experience to finish on top of the eleven-team field in the Columbus East Invitational held on Saturday (Aug 13). North’s 331 topped the field and freshman Ava Bunker was named meet medalist with a five-under-par score of 67, tying Nathaly Munnicha’s school record for 18 holes. Erin Hopkins fired a personal-best 86, good enough for fourth place in the individual competition. Ritisha Rashmil chipped in an 88, while Lindsey Hartwell added 90. Also competing for the Bull Dogs was Nettie Meeks who carded a 112 and Kara Buntin with 117. Columbus North will host Greenwood on Monday, August 15 at Timbergate. Tee times are set to begin at 4:30 pm.
