August 29, 2023 - When Columbus North and Greenwood met at Valle Vista Golf Course earlier this season, lightning struck after only a few holes and the match was canceled. The teams decided to make up the match in the form of a triangular meet with Franklin at Legends Golf Club in Franklin. North finished second with 199 strokes, finishing ahead of Greenwood (222) and behind Franklin (181). Erin Hopkins was the meet Medalist with a 41, Lindsey Hartwell shot 45, Harper Andresen had her personal best round of 54, and Ana Pavlov completed the Bull Dog scoring with 59. Kara Buntin added a round of 60 for North. Monday was just the beginning of a busy stretch for coach Scott Seavers’ squad. They’ll tee it back up again this afternoon when they host Southwestern at Harrison Lake Country Club, and then host Southport on Wednesday afternoon. Photo: Harper Andresen scored a personal best 54 to help the Bull Dogs to a second-place finish at the Greenwood/Franklin Triangular at Legends Golf Course on Monday.
