August 29, 2023 - To say that the varsity girls soccer team is having trouble scoring right now would be an understatement. The young squad hasn’t put a ball in the net in the last three matches, with their last score coming in the second half of their match at Franklin on August 21. The Bull Dogs were shut out at Plainfield last night (August 29) 5-0, a match that was just 1-0 at halftime. Stats for the match were not provided. The JV battled Plainfield to a 0-0 draw in the early match. Head coach David Young’s talented young team will look to regroup and bounce back at home on Thursday evening when they host Roncalli. JV is set to begin at 5:30 with varsity to follow.
