January 17, 2024 - Columbus North connected on 14 three-point goals, including four by Austin Perry (shown), in an 83-46 rout at Mooresville. The Dogs scored 47 second-half points and had three players score in double figures, including Perry with 22, Jack Whaley with 13, and Caleb Ferguson with twelve. While the Bull Dogs (7-5) were red hot from beyond the arc, they struggled at the line, connecting on just 5-of-13 attempts. A total of ten different Bull Dogs scored points in the blowout victory. The JV team improved to 6-3 and the freshmen to 8-2 with a pair of sub-varsity victories in the early games. The Dogs won’t have much time to celebrate as they will host fourth-ranked Carmel Saturday evening in Memorial Gymnasium. The Greyhounds suffered their first loss of the season to Plainfield Friday night and now sit at 9-1. JV and freshman games will begin at 6:00 with varsity to follow the JV matchup.
