August 31, 2023 - Kennedy Horn tallied 19 kills, Morgan Osborn had 18 digs, and Reese Edwards recorded 46 assists as the Bull Dogs beat Martinsville 3-1 to claim their third straight match victory. The Bull Dogs (6-5) stumbled out of the gate, dropping the first set 25-19, but rallied to win the last three sets 25-7, 26-24, and 25-20. Karen Dutro added ten kills, Roselyn Venegas served six aces to go along with her ten digs. Three players, Horn, Dutro, and Kaitlin White all had three blocks, and Ally Wettschurack recorded eleven digs to help North secure the non-conference victory. The North JV and freshmen each won 2-0 in the early matches.. The JV and freshman teams will compete in the Hauser Invitational on Saturday before the JV and varsity teams will travel to Southport for a Conference Indiana matchup on Tuesday, September 5, beginning at 6:00 pm.
