August 16, 2022 - Freshman Ava Bunker tied the nine-hole school scoring record in a meet earlier this season, and on Tuesday against Batesville, she set a new mark. Bunker’s remarkable six-under par score of 30 at Timbergate Golf Course is the lowest score (both in total and in relation to par) in school history. The Dogs, however, fell to Batesville 167-146 in the team competition. Erin Hopkins carded 42, Ritisha Rashmil fired a 43, Lindsey Hartwell added 52, and Nettie Meeks totaled 53. The JV team will travel to Eastern Hancock on Thursday (August 18) while the varsity team travels to Smock Golf Course in Greenwood to take on Roncalli.
