Head Coach Rick Sluder was awarded the Boys Cross Country Indiana Coach of the Year at the Hoosier State Relays on Saturday, March 28.

March 29, 2026 - The indoor track and field season came to a conclusion on Saturday, March 28 at the Hoosier State Relays in Indianapolis, and the Bull Dogs had a number of participants after qualifying throughout the month of February and March. In the boys division, the Dogs had four qualifiers in the 3200m, including Justin Reckers, who finished seventh, Denton Sluder ninth, Joseph Day 14th, and Sam Steinmetz 15th. The 4x800m relay team of Sluder, Steinmetz, Graham Pumphrey, and Noah Weidman finished 24th., and the distance medley relay of Pumphrey, Levi Hall, Steinmetz, and Sluder finished 21st. The Bull Dog girls also had qualifiers in multiple events and had a number of top-20 finishes. Adira Sluder was 22nd in the 3200m, Emerson Chambers claimed eighth in the 60m hurdles, Avery Johnson was 16th in the long jump, Emma Haston was seventh in the high jump, and Gabby Revell finished 13th in the shot put. The outdoor season has now begun for Rick Sluder’s boys and girls track and field teams, and North will host Bloomington South on Tuesday, April 7 in a dual meet.
