March 31, 2026 - Columbus North boys volleyball were dominant in a 3-0 sweep at Shelbyville on Monday evening. The Dogs won the first set 25-9, and followed that with 25-12 and 25-8 victories in the final two sets. Justin Lopez had 13 kills and four service aces for North. Leo Iorio recorded three kills and ten aces, and Emanuel Vazquez tallied three kills, four blocks, and a pair of digs. Ramu Alagappan had 21 assists and seven aces, and Ethan Santos chipped in six aces and two digs to help the Dogs sweep the Golden Bears. The Dogs will continue their streak of road matches with a JV-varsity doubleheader at New Albany on Thursday. The JV match is scheduled to get underway at 6:00 with the varsity to follow.
