March 31, 2026 - Home runs by Lyla Deweese, Chezney Rutan, Avery Shehan, Payton MOrris, and Lola Thompson helped the Bull Dogs to a 15-4, five inning, victory over Living Water Homeschool on Monday evening at the Southside Elementary diamonds. The Dogs put ten runs on the board in the first two innings, and added five more in the bottom of the fourth to run-rule the Marlins and begin their season 1-0. Morgan Jarvis had three hits and scored three runs, and Deweese tallied four RBI in the victory. Bailee Scruggs got the start in the pitcher’s circle and threw all five innings, allowing four runs on seven hits while striking out nine and walking none. The JV team won their opener 6-2 in the nightcap. North will travel to East Central on Thursday, April 2 for a varsity-JV doubleheader, beginning at 6:00 pm.
