September 10, 2023 - The Columbus North volleyball team took a five-match winning streak to Terre Haute North for a key Conference Indiana matchup on Saturday (September 9), and while the match started off well for the Dogs (a 25-22 victory in the first set), the rest of the match belonged to the Patriots. Terre Haute North won the last three sets (25-18, 25-17, 25-15) to take the match 3-1 and drop the Bull Dogs to 8-6 overall and 2-1 in Conference Indiana. Kennedy Horn led the Bull Dogs with six aces and eleven kills. Reese Edwards recorded 23 setting assists, twelve digs, two aces, and a pair of blocks. Morgan Osborn topped the Dogs with 19 digs, while Elaina Penrod recorded seven kills and two blocks. The JV team’s seven-match win streak was snapped with a 2-1 loss to the Patriots in the early match. The Dogs will look to get back on track when they travel to Franklin Central on Tuesday evening.
