April 8, 2026 - Head coach Kendal Hammel’s girl tennis tennis team got their season started at Center Grove Tuesday evening and came home with a 4-1 loss to the Trojans. The Bull Dogs’ lone match victory came at one doubles, where Nino Akhalaya and Isa Pan won 6-4, 6-1. Freshman Valeria Cortes played number one singles and fell 0-6, 1-6. Senior Lucy Bergman fell 0-6, 3-6 at two singles, and junior Molly Richards dropped a 1-6, 0-6 decision at three singles. In two doubles, Priyanka Nair and Dhish Vudathaneni took a 1-6, 0-6 loss. North will hope to get one in the win column when they host Seymour on Thursday evening, beginning at 4:45 pm.
