April 21, 2026 - Trailing 3-0 after two innings, the Bull Dogs’ bats started to heat up and they rolled to an 11-4 victory at New Albany on Monday evening, April 20. The Dogs scored four runs in the third, five in the fourth, and two more in the fifth as they took advantage of four New Albany errors. Isaac Genth was 3-for-4 at the plate, including a double, and had two RBI for the Bull Dogs. North got two hits each from Jack Whaley and Jesse Clark. Whaley and Sam Perry each had two RBI as the Dogs improved to 5-6 for the season. Daiju Iwaya got the start and tossed six innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on nine hits. Iwaya struck out four and walked none in his outing. Jayden Adorno finished the game, pitching the seventh inning and allowing one hit and no runs with one strikeout. The JV team hosted Bedford North Lawrence on Monday night and won 12-11, earning their first victory of the season against four losses. Both teams will travel to Franklin Central this evening, with games scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm.
