September 17, 2023 - Avery Baker had a second match-winning goal in a week with 7:37 left in the second half against Terre Haute North on Saturday, September 16, improving the Bull Dogs to 5-4-3 for the season (3-1 in Conference Indiana). Page Mora had the other goal for Columbus North, and Evelyn Lopez and Grace Merritt each tallied assists in the victory. Paige Terry had seven saves in goal for Columbus North. The Bull Dogs also won the JV match 6-0. Lily Ryan had three goals, and Sabrina Portaluppi, Belle Newman-Stump, and Libby Richards each scored in the victory, which bumped the JV team’s record to 10-0-1. The Bull Dogs will host twelfth-ranked Bloomington South on Monday evening at the BCSC Soccer Complex. JV is scheduled to begin at 6:00 with varsity to follow shortly thereafter.
