Unified Track earns share of Conference Indiana title

May 1, 2026 - Columbus North and Bloomington South were tied with two events remaining at the Conference Indiana Unified Track meet in Bloomington on Thursday evening. The Dogs took first with the Panthers second in the girls 4x100m relay, and then finished in the reverse order in the boys 4x100m relay to each earn a share of the title with 123 points apiece. Terre Haute North was a distant third (89), with Bloomington North fourth (87), Southport fifth (64), and Terre Haute South sixth (28). Top Bull Dog performances in each event included: Mixed 100m (Section 1): Quinn Roggow 2nd Mixed 100m (Section 2): Sydney Brown 1st Mixed 100m (Section 3): Diego Banuet 1st Mixed 400m (Section 1): Roggow 2nd Mixed 400m (Section 2): Vincent Fedor 1st Mixed 400m (Sections 3): Banquet 2nd Mixed Boys 4x100m relay: 2nd Mixed Girls 4x100m relay: 1st Mixed Long jump (Section 2): Fedor 4th Mixed Long jump (Section 3): Seth McCauley 1st Mixed Shot put (Section 1): Gabby Spurgeon 1st Mixed Shot put (Section 2): Jack Treesh 1st Mixed Shot put (Section 3): Brennan Hester 2nd The Unified Track team will travel to Carmel for an invitational on Wednesday, May 6, beginning at 6:00 pm.
