May 5, 2026 - Columbus North gave up 13 hits to Shelbyville and committed four defensive errors in a 15-11 loss, dropping them to 9-9 for the season. North managed only five hits, but used seven walks and three hit-by-pitches to put eleven runs on the board. Sam Perry scored twice and had a three-run home run in the third inning, but each time the Dogs scored, the Golden Bears seemed to have answers. Brock Kintner had two hits and scored twice in the loss. Three Bull Dog pitchers (Daiju Iwaya (2 IP), Macario Mendez (1 IP), and Bryson Satterfield (3 IP)) combined to allow 15 runs (13 earned) on 13 hits, while walking five and striking out just three. Columbus North will try to get back on track after three consecutive losses when they travel to Southport this evening for a Conference Indiana matchup. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 pm.
