September 20, 2023 - The second-ranked Columbus North boys tennis team appeared to be on its way to another easy victory at Silver Creek, jumping out to a 2-0 lead after two matches. However, Silver Creek battled back to take the next two matches, evening the team score at 2-2. The match was forced indoors due to darkness with the two-singles match as the deciding match. Austin Clark (shown above) scrapped to a 6-2, 6-7(2), 7-5 victory, giving the team decision to the Bull Dogs. Individual match results (in order of finish) included: 1D: Amrit Kar/Anvay Atram W 6-1, 6-0 2D: Michael Crossman/Yoki Murabayashi W 6-4, 6-2 3S: Teddy Littrell L 2-6, 2-6 1S: Parth Shah L 6-3, 2-6, 1-6 2S: Austin Clark W 6-2, 6-7(2), 7-5 The Bull Dogs (14-1) will host Southport in a Conference Indiana matchup at 4:30 pm today.
