North takes care of Braves in baseball

May 16, 2026 - Columbus North baseball has won six of their last eight games after an 8-1 Conference Indiana victory over visiting Terre Haute South on Friday evening. Jayden Adorno tossed a complete game three-hitter for the Dogs, who improved to 14-11 for the season and finished the Conference Indiana season 2-3. He allowed just one run and two walks while striking out three. Brock Kintner had another big night at the plate, going 2-for-4 and scoring two runs. Jack Whaley had two doubles, scored twice, and had an RBI. Ike Genth knocked in three runs and scored once himself as the top of the order pounded out eight hits for the Dogs. The Bull Dogs welcomed as their guests a number of area youth baseball players when they faced the Braves Friday evening. The JV (White) team lost 6-3 to Columbus East in the other game at Southside Friday evening. North will host Fishers Monday evening at 6:30 pm and the JV team will travel to Fishers.
