September 24, 2023 - The Columbus North volleyball team swept Rushville, South Dearborn, Madison, and Oldenburg each 2-0 to win the Heritage Days Classic at Hauser High School on Saturday (September 23). The four victories improve the Bull Dogs’ record to 13-9. For the tournament Karen Dutro led the Bull Dogs with 31 kills, followed by Kennedy Horn with 23. Dutro and Horn each tallied nine blocks as well. Reese Edwards had 50 assists, and Morgan Osborn had 40 digs to lead North. Katelynn Mabis had the most service aces with five, followed by Osborn with four and Ally Wettschurack with three. Columbus North will host Bedford North Lawrence on Tuesday, September 26 with the JV match starting at 6:00 pm (varsity to follow). BNL does not have a freshman team.
