Eight Bull Dog seniors were recognized prior to a 5-3 victory over Madison on Thursday, May 21.

May 22, 2026 - When the Bull Dogs had a couple of games rained out early in the week, the Dogs scrambled to find an opponent for their Senior Night on Thursday evening. The 17-5 Madison Cubs answered the bell and traveled to take on the Bull Dogs, with North coming out on top 5-3. Eight seniors were recognized prior to the first pitch, including Brock Kintner, Sam Perry, Jesse Clark, Daiju Iwaya, Javier Uscanga, Dillon Long, Macario Mendez, and Jayden Adorno. The Cubs started the game with a pair of runs in the top of the first, but the Dogs answered with four in the bottom of the second. The two teams traded runs in the sixth inning to account for the final 5-3 score. Kintner had a pair of RBI, and they got one each from Uscanga and Perry. Runs scored came from Ike Genth, Clark, Uscanga, and Iwaya. Uscanga got the start on the mound, but lasted only one inning, allowing two runs on three hits with two walks. Long toed the rubber the final six innings, allowing just one run on six hits with two walks and striking out three. The JV White squad beat Edgewood 5-3 in the other game Thursday evening. The Dogs (15-11) play Decatur Central Friday night to close out the regular season.
