June 11, 2026 - The Bull Dog boys golf team saw their season come to an end this afternoon at Champions Pointe golf course in Henryville with a seventh place finish at the Providence Regional. Only the top three teams will advance to next week’s state finals, and the Bull Dogs, who shot 330 as a team, did not have any individuals advance to the state meet. Center Grove shot 298 to secure the team title. Franklin Community was second (308) and Floyd Central third (309). Tyler Dillingham led the Dogs with a seven-over round of 79, followed by an 82 by Owen Sullivan, an 84 by Reid Perry, and an 85 turned in by Ryder Allman. Keaton Russell’s 88 did not count toward the team total. The Dogs will lose just one senior from this year’s squad, Elijah Clark. The entire regional roster will return next season, along with a number of additional talented players. Congratulations to Coach Bieker and the entire boys golf squad on another fine season.
