August 18, 2026 - Head girls soccer coach David Young got exactly the start he had hoped for to the 2026 season. After a 9-0 victory in the JV match, the Bull Dogs varsity team rolled to a 7-0 victory over visiting Greenwood to allow each team to start their season 1-0. The Dogs got goals from Avery Baker, Grace Bethuram (2), Rachel Fulp, Irelynn McAlister, Riley Sims, and Grace Merritt, and assists from Aliyah Young, Fulp (3), Mila Begley, and Bethuram (2). Danika Hoehn and Kori Jones split time in goal to earn the shutout, with Jones recording two saves. In the early match, the Dogs got goals from Delila Priest Owens, Ella Bethuram, Estefany Lopez (2), Pietra de Souza (2), Brooke Holmes (2), and Jacklyn Bunch. The Dogs will be back on the pitch Thursday afternoon when they host Seymour and celebrate Youth Night. JV will begin at 5:00 with varsity to follow around 6:30.
