August 21, 2026 - After a pair of 3-2 losses to open the season, coach Kendal Hammel’s boys tennis team turned the tables on Greenfield Central Thursday night with a 3-2 home court victory to earn their first victory of the season. The number two doubles team of Logan Morales and Andrew Huang got the event started with a decisive 6-0, 6-3 victory. Max Wei put the Dogs up 2-0 with a 6-3, 6-3 decision at number two singles. After a 5-7, 3-6 defeat of Ricardo Prata at three singles, the Dogs secured the match with a 7-6(6), 6-4 victory by Luca Devidze and Cale Fitzsimmons at one doubles. The most competitive match of the evening occurred at number one singles as Alek Devidze dropped his first match of the season 6-2, 3-6, 6-7(7). The Bull Dogs also took seven of nine reserves matches. North will be back on the court Friday and Saturday at the Jeffersonville Invitational.
