Number one singles player Alek Devidze finished 3-0 at the Jeffersonville Invitational to help the Dogs to a fifth place finish on Saturday, August 22.

August 23, 2026 - North boys tennis finished fifth among eight teams at the Jeffersonville Invitational on Friday and Saturday with 24 team points. Each player in the invitational plays a tournament within their playing position and earns points based on their finish. One singles player Alek Devidze won all three of his matches to earn nine team points. Max Wei lost his first match at two singles, but won his final two to earn five points. At three singles, Vihaan Garg lost his first and third match and won his second to earn three points. Luca Devidze and Cale Fitzsimmons won their first one doubles match, and dropped the final two to gain four points for the Dogs. Finally, Logan Morales and Ricardo Prata won their second match and lost their first and third to earn three points. The Bull Dogs will travel to Columbus East on Tuesday, August 25 as part of Rivalry Week. The match is scheduled to begin at 4:30 pm, and the Columbus East athletic department cautions fans that, due to construction, parking may be a challenge. Please be patient and be prepared to walk from adjacent parking lots rather than right next to the tennis courts.
