October 3, 2023 - Columbus North improved to 15-10 for the season and 3-1 in Conference Indiana with a 3-0 sweep of Bloomington South in Memorial Gym on Tuesday (Oct 3). Four Columbus North seniors, Katelyn Mabis, Kaitlin White, Roselynn Venegas, and Anna Kute were recognized between the JV and varsity matches. The Bull Dogs’ 25-20, 25-21, 25-20 three-set victory showcased the following statistical leaders for Columbus North: Kills: Karen Dutro (14) Blocks: Dutro (3), Kennedy Horn (2), Kute (2) Service aces: Mabis (4), Horn (4), Morgan Osborn (3) Digs: Osborn (17), Reese Edwards (10), Venegas (8) Assists: Edwards (22) Bloomington South swept the two early matches, winning the 9th grade match 2-0, and the JV match 2-1.
